| This is where I work. Yes, we do have a monkey. I'm growing fond of this little fellow, who sits on top of an empty cubical not far from the cafe station on the second floor, where the engineering department locates. Geeks do have sense of humor, and this monkey is the proof. Everytime I pass by, it is in a different pose: practicing martial arts, the thinker, taking a nap, hanging off the edge of the cubical wall. The two pictures on the right were taken in Cafe Via. I ate lunch here with my co-worker Jennie almost everyday. Sometimes we come down here to make a cup of espresso drink in the afternoon. | | |

| Blue Danue Coffee Shop's patrons have been keeping a "Blue Danue" journal for quite a few years. There are about 10 notebooks full of stories, pictures, birthday wishes. One of my favorits was writen by this man from Czech. "Blue Danue" was his wife and his favorit local coffee shops. They used to come here every Saturday afternoon, later they came with their new bord child. After the dot com bubble bursted, his wife was forced to return to Czech with his son. He remained behind to finish his MBA. He still came here and often he would have the illusion that his wife would show up at the door with his little boy... | | | Green Apple Books is one of my favorite book stores in the bay area, they keep an amazing collection of used photography books. Shiok, a Singapore restaurant in Menlo Park. One of my favorite eateries. | |
